Hotel distribution technology and booking services provider Hotelzon has partnered with Ecompter to introduce Hotelzon eCO-Impact, a new feature for its online hotel booking tool.
The eCO-Impact delivers qualitative and quantitative information about a property’s approach to providing and sustaining an environment-friendly operation.
Hotelzon Online provides an information summary of relevant actions taken by the hotel, together with carbon footprint calculations to users, who will be able to recognise participating properties by conducting a hotel search.
Customers can instantly evaluate the environmental impact of their own stay during the booking process through the use of a pop-up CO2 calculator and hotels are able to provide full carbon footprint reports for their clients.
