Hyatt Hotels has expanded its global portfolio with the opening of Hyatt Place Shenzhen Dongmen in China and Hyatt Atlanta Perimeter in the US.
The hospitality giant also revealed plans to open a Hyatt Place hotel in Jermuk, Armenia, in 2015.
Located in the Dongmen district of Shenzhen, a southern Chinese city bordering Hong Kong, Hyatt Place Shenzhen Dongmen is the first Hyatt Place brand hotel in China.
Designed for both business and leisure travellers, Hyatt Place Shenzhen Dongmen offers 144 rooms equipped with 42in HDTV and Hyatt Grand Bed.
Other amenities at the hotel include free Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast, over 1,185ft² of meeting space, 24/7 market, a Coffee to Cocktails Bar, a Gallery Kitchen, 24hr gym, and free public computers with internet access and remote printing.
Atlanta’s latest hotel, Hyatt Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina, is managed by Hospitality Ventures Management Group. Located near the upscale Buckhead neighbourhood, the hotel features 177 guestrooms including 15 suites.
Amenities offered by Hyatt Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina include an outdoor rooftop pool, a 24hr fitness centre, business centre, gardens, meeting facilities, wedding and special event venues, Villa Christina and Caffé Christina restaurants, and Sassafras bar, spa rooms, and valet parking.
The 88-room Hyatt Place Jermuk will be developed by Jersan and will be the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Armenia after the recently opened Hyatt Place Yerevan.
Hyatt Place Jermuk will offer over 1,800ft² of meeting space, an open market with made-to-order meals and 24/7 snacks, a restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, a fitness centre, and an indoor and outdoor swimming pool.
Chicago-based Hyatt Hotels currently owns 554 properties in 47 countries across the world.
