Hyatt Hotels and Interstate Hotels & Resorts have launched a new hotel under the Hyatt Place brand, the Hyatt Place Fredericksburg-Mary Washington.
Located on the campus of the University of Mary Washington, the hotel is conveniently placed to serve the university community, Historic Downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia and the Mary Washington Health System.
Built on a 23-acre mixed-use development site, the new property is in close proximity to more than 20 retail shops, a fitness club, a grocery store, ten restaurants and cafés, as well as a popular sports bar.
Hyatt Place Fredericksburg-Mary Washington has 93 rooms, including four Presidential Executive Suites, featuring a 42in HDTV, the plush Hyatt Grand Bed and Cozy Corner sectional sofa.

The new hotel offers free Wi-Fi, complimentary morning Kitchen Skillet breakfast featuring breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruits, hot and cold cereal, yogurt, breads, premium coffee and an assortment of juices.
Amenities at the hotel include over 1,500ft² of high-tech meeting/function space, a 24/7 Gallery Menu serving made-to-order entrees and appetisers as well as a Coffee to Cocktails Bar offering speciality coffees and premium beers, wines and cocktails.
The new hotel will be led by general manager Jim Fournier, assistant general manager John Marion and director of sales Michelle Hardy.
