Hyatt Hotels, along with New Horizons Hospitality, has launched a new hotel, the Hyatt Place Houston/The Woodlands, in Houston, US.

The new hotel, which is the third Hyatt Place brand hotel in the region, is located in The Woodlands that is home to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Woodlands Mall, Market Street, Woodlands Waterway, and other corporate campuses.

Hyatt Place Houston/The Woodlands has 146 rooms featuring a 46-inch HDTV, the plush Hyatt Grand Bed and Cozy Corner sectional sofa, free Wi-Fi, complimentary morning ‘Kitchen Skillet’ breakfast offering freshly prepared breakfast sandwiches, a variety of fresh fruits, hot and cold cereal, yogurt, breads, premium coffee and an assortment of juices.

"The hotel is in a fast-growing Houston suburb with a diverse resident and business base, in addition to popular restaurants, attractions and entertainment venues."

The new property has more than 6,100ft² of meeting and function spaces, an all day Gallery Menu serving made-to-order entrees and appetizers around the clock, as well as 24-hour StayFit Gym, and a Coffee to Cocktails Bar serving specialty coffees, beers, wines and cocktails.

Hyatt Place Houston/The Woodlands general manager Elias Contreras said the hotel is in a fast-growing Houston suburb with a diverse resident and business base, in addition to popular restaurants, attractions and entertainment venues.

Hyatt Place Houston/The Woodlands will be managed by Elias Contreras, who is directly responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including overseeing the hotel’s 40 associates and ensuring that guests receive the authentic hospitality experience for which Hyatt Place is known.

New Horizons Hospitality vice-president Aly Valiani said as The Woodlands continues to grow and thrive economically, the group is excited to add to the community’s momentum by teaming up with Hyatt to bring the first Hyatt Place hotel to the area.
