Global hospitality company Hyatt Hotels has announced the opening of Hyatt Regency Chongqing in China.
The 321-room Hyatt Regency Chongqing is part of a new mixed-use commercial development combining high-end offices, luxury shopping and various dining and entertainment experiences.
Located in Jiangbei District, the new central business district in Chongqing, the Hyatt Regency Chongqing caters to both business and leisure travellers.
The hotel features marble bathrooms, a chairman suite and presidential suite, along with 37 other suites.
Amenities offered by the hotel include the Regency Club; restaurants and bars; Market Café, a dining buffet restaurant; and Yu Yue, a Chinese restaurant.
Located on the lobby level is the hotel’s Tea Lounge, which serves a selection of teas, coffee and juices, and is ideal for business meetings.
The Hyatt Regency Chongqing also features the Heng Spa, comprising ten spa suites as well as separate foot massage rooms, a fitness centre and a 25m indoor pool.
Guests also have access to a total of more than 20,100ft² of function space for meetings, conferences, weddings or social gatherings. The 8,300ft² Regency Ballroom can accommodate up to 450 guests for banquets and 670 for cocktail receptions.
The hotel’s Beicheng Ballroom, measuring 3,900ft², can be divided into two separate rooms, and eight additional multi-purpose venues, ranging from 581ft² to 1,292ft², are availabe for hosting meetings and events of various sizes.
Hyatt Regency hotels range in size up to 2,000 rooms, feature meeting spaces and offer services and dining options tailored to serve the needs of conventions, business travellers or resort vacationers.
