InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has launched Holiday Inn Warwick Farm in south-west Sydney, Australia.
With a multimillion dollar investment, IHG has renovated the Sunnybrook Hotel and renamed it as Holiday Inn Warwick Farm, which now has 146-rooms.
The hotel is expected to meet the needs of growing commercial and leisure based industries in the region. It is located at 355 Hume Highway, Warwick Farm, with access to a number of commercial and business park precincts.
Holiday Inn Warwick Farm includes facilities such as an all-day dining restaurant, gymnasium, a meetings and events centre and heated outdoor swimming pool.
The hotel’s renovated guest rooms and restaurant feature classic décor and comfortable furnishings, while the gymnasium and swimming pool have been upgraded.
Work has also started on upgrading the adjoining Oscars Tavern and meeting and events centre. The upgrades are expected to be complete by mid-2014.
Holiday Inn is also offering event facilities, which include three new conference rooms that can accommodate meetings and ballroom space for both the local corporate and leisure markets.
The event centre, which is adjacent to the conference rooms, is completely renovated, and can host up to 700 people for banquets and entertainment.
Holiday Inn is in close proximity to the suburbs of Liverpool, Chipping Norton, Cabramatta and Moorebank, as well as Warwick Farm Racecourse and Warwick Farm Polo Fields.
IHG Australasia chief operating officer Alan Watts said: "The opening of Holiday Inn Warwick Farm is the next step in Holiday Inn hotels’ growth in New South Wales, this is the sixth of our Holiday Inn hotels in Sydney."
Holiday Inn Warwick Farm has joined the IHG’s family of 11 Holiday Inn hotels and resorts that are currently operating in Australia.
