InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened a new Holiday Inn branded hotel, the Holiday Inn Monterrey Valle hotel in Monterrey, Mexico.
The new hotel is the tenth IHG property in Monterrey, following two Crowne Plaza hotels, three Holiday Inn hotels, three Holiday Inn Express hotels and one Staybridge Suites hotel.
Situated in the centre of San Pedro Garza García, the hotel is close to major national and international corporate offices such as LAMOSA, Teleperformance, Alestra, Deloitte, Ernest & Young and Pepsi.
IHG Mexico, Latin America and Caribbean distribution and commercial marketing vice president Gerardo Murray said, "Monterrey is a prominent city in Mexico, rapidly growing with vast potential and we are happy to further develop the IHG brand family here."
All 198 rooms at the hotel feature comfortable double, queen or king-sized beds, a sitting area with a lounge chair, hairdryer, coffee maker, iron and ironing board.
Guest rooms include business-focused features such as workstations and data ports, and the bathrooms feature Bath & Body Works White Citrus bath products.
The property also has seven suites, five meeting rooms that can hold around 80 people, a heated swimming pool, and a fully equipped fitness centre.
Los Alcatraces restaurant features a variety of cuisines and dining options from breakfast to buffet dinner, and the property also has a bar, Bar El Refugio del Pintor.
Holiday Inn Monterrey Valle hotel is part of the Holiday Inn brand family’s $1bn global brand re-launch plan.
The new hotel is owned and managed by Fibra Inn and is franchised by an affiliate of IHG.
