Crown Plaza

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has expanded its presence in India with the opening of a new hotel, Crowne Plaza Greater Noida, in Delhi.

Situated in a commercial hub in close proximity to the Noida-Agra Yamuna Expressway, the new hotel has 398 rooms and a total event space of more than 1,000m².

Crowne Plaza Greater Noida features 332 rooms, 49 service apartments and 17 suites along with indoor and outdoor venues that are capable of accommodating around 1,500 guests.

Crowne Plaza Greater Noida general manager Greesh Bindra said the company is delighted to bring a hotel to Greater Noida that aims to offer an international experience while reflecting the preferences of the local community.

"Greater Noida has already become an important destination for international events and we aim to make our hotel the preferred choice for business, events and celebrations in the area," Bindra added.

The new property also features the all-day dining restaurant Mosaic; an Italian and Chinese speciality restaurant Chao Bella; North-Western frontier cuisine restaurant Spice Art as well as the ConneXions bar.

The hotel also offers a Mosaic Pastry Lounge and a speciality beer bar, Belgian Beer Café.

Additional amenities of the hotel include the Sohum Spa with five sunlit indoor treatment rooms and outdoor options offering European and Asian therapies, a gymnasium and an outdoor pool with individual whirlpools.

IHG South-West Asia operations vice president Douglas Martell said that India is one of the key growth markets for the group and the opening of Crowne Plaza Greater Noida is a reiteration of its commitments made to the country.

"We are pleased to collaborate with north India’s prominent real estate group, Aakriti to bring a world-class hotel to this region," Martell added.
