InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has signed an agreement with Al Khorayef & Sons to manage the Staybridge Suites hotel for 20 years in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
The Staybridge Suites Al Khobar property will represent the first Staybridge Suites property in Al Khobar and the third hotel to be launched in Saudi Arabia.
With the launch of the new 189-key Staybridge Suites hotel, the hospitality group expects to address the growing demand for extended stay properties in Al Khobar following its rising popularity as the regional and international business hub on Saudi Arabia’s east coast.
IHG Middle East, India & Africa COO Pascal Gauvin said: "With five properties currently in Al Khobar, we have a strong presence and in-depth knowledge of the area.
"Through the years we have observed its growth potential as a hub for both business and leisure travelers."

The hotel’s strategic location on King Fahd Road in Al Khobar also makes it convenient for guests travelling to the nearby cities of Damman and Dhahran.
Following the completion, Staybridge Suites Al Khobar will be part of a larger mixed-use development including multiple retail and food and beverage outlets.
