Located next to the Dutch Parliament and the American Embassy, the 123-room hotel is the fifth property managed by Interstate in The Netherlands.
The hotel features modern décor in the lobby and bar areas, and the soundproof rooms are equipped with modern LCD TVs and free wireless Internet.
Interstate Hotels & Resorts CEO Jim Abrahamson said: "Through our strong partnership with a leading hotel developer in The Netherlands, TVHG, and exceptional brand relationships, we’re certain the introduction of the Holiday Inn Express brand into The Hague will be a success."
TVHG CEO Bart van de Kamp said that recent investment from Metric Capital Partners and Hutton Collins will support TVHG’s development plans in the country.
"The influx of additional capital, combined with Interstate’s world-class operations and longstanding relationships with leading international brands, favourably positions us to aggressively expand our hotel development projects in the region," he added.
Interstate Hotels & Resorts is a wholly-owned subsidiary of a 50/50 joint venture between subsidiaries of Thayer Lodging and Jin Jiang.
Along with its affiliates, the company manages 370 hotels with nearly 70,000 rooms in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
The US-based global hotel management company has also signed agreements to manage 37 hotels with over 7,200 rooms under construction or development across the globe.
