Hotel developer JOHN Q HAMMONS HOTELS & Resorts has extended its contract with network communications provider Windstream to provide high-speed internet support to an additional 44 of its hotels.

As part of the agreement, Windstream, which is already connecting its services to 29 other properties of John Q Hammons, will provide 24x7x365 internet support services for the chain’s brands and in the conference and trade centres of Embassy Suites Hotels.

“With Windstream’s conference services, the property management and staff can be confident that they will maintain very high guest satisfaction and repeat business in their meeting spaces.”

Windstream has collaborated with the US hotel operator to create a comprehensive conference services programme that includes service capabilities, such as dedicated bandwidth and onsite event support.

Windstream hospitality division managing director Ken Apperson said its event support services would enhance the hotels position in the convention services market.

"With Windstream’s conference services, the property management and staff can be confident that they will maintain very high guest satisfaction and repeat business in their meeting spaces," Apperson claimed.

John Q Hammons Hotels & Resorts has a portfolio of 78 hotels, with nearly 19,000 guest rooms and suites in 24 states of the US.
