US-based hotel management firm Kinseth Hospitality Company has broken ground for the Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Bettendorf, Iowa.
The new 116-room Bettendorf Hilton Garden Inn, a mid-tier hotel brand, is scheduled for completion by autumn 2014.
The property is expected to feature in-room amenities like hypoallergenic pillows, HD televisions, and complimentary wireless internet.
Kinseth Hospitality Companies president Leslie Kinseth said that the group is excited to start construction on the new hotel.
"With its convenient location on the north side of Bettendorf just minutes from Interstate 80, we feel that the Hilton Garden Inn will provide the area with a truly first-class, medium-priced, hotel for both business and leisure travellers alike," Kinseth added.
"The Hilton Garden Inn will also provide another lodging alternative to Hilton guests staying in the Quad Cities."
Bettendorf Hilton Garden Inn is also expected to feature access to an indoor swimming pool, fitness centre and business centre, while the 24/7 Pavilion Pantry will offer a range of snacks and beverages.
US-based Bush Construction has been contracted to build the new hotel at 959 Middle Road, Bettendorf; it will be managed by Kinseth Hospitality Companies.
