France-based Louvre Hotels Group is to open 12 hotels in Central and Eastern Europe by the end of 2012.

New facilities are already under construction in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland to offer over 1,000 rooms under the Campanile and Premiere Classe brands.

The group will open a four-star Savoy Hotel in Prague before the end of the year under the Golden Tulip brand and will manage the hotel on behalf of Warimpex.

Louvre Hotels Group will also construct ten Premiere Classe and Campanile-branded hotels in Poland.

The group has more than 1,000 hotels, representing a total capacity of over 80,000 rooms in 40 countries.
