US-based Noble Investment Group has acquired the Q Hotel in Missouri that will be rebranded as an AC by Marriott Hotel.

Located in the Westport District of Kansas City, the 123-room hotel will be renovated and converted as the first of this brand in the US.

Noble CEO Mit Shah said: "Marriott is a long-standing brand partner of Noble and we are excited to help launch the AC by Marriott brand in the United States."

The Kansas City AC Hotel will feature European-inspired design, local influenced museum-quality artefacts and technology enabled functional spaces to address the needs of travellers while connecting them with urban vibe of the city.

Noble principal Ben Brunt said: "Our ability to deliver a product targeted to Westport and its surrounding businesses will allow us to maximise operating performance and add substantial value to this investment."

AC Hotels by Marriott is an urban lifestyle hotel brand and currently owns 79 properties across Spain, Italy, Portugal and France, while it plans to launch its brand in the US shortly.

The AC Hotels by Marriott brand has an urban, cosmopolitan design while offering a tailor-made guest experience.

Founded in 1993, the Noble has invested over $2.5bn in the upper upscale and upscale hotels across the US that are affiliated with premium brands by Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton and Starwood.
