Omni Facilities Management has partnered with Knowcross Solutions to offer Triton suite of applications to hotels looking for cost-effective solutions in hotel housekeeping.
The Triton software suite allows hotels to manage housekeeping and maintenance tasks, as well as guest requests, complaints and personalised services through smartphones and tablets.
Hotels with in-house or outsourced housekeeping departments can leverage the Triton software to save costs and boost staff productivity through automation of processes, claims Knowcross.
The software suite has been deployed in more than 200 hotels around the world including the Grand Hyatt in Singapore and the Rosewood, Andaz and Corinthia hotels in London.
The partnership is expected to help Knowcross in marketing its solutions in the UK and Singapore market more effectively.
Omni Facilities Management business development director Asif Alidina said: "Hotels have sometimes been reticent to embrace technology and the housekeeping department has been particularly neglected, despite its critical role in the guest experience.
"Triton presents a new, innovative way for hotels with in-house or outsourced housekeeping departments to recognise more savings, without jeopardising quality or overburdening staff. Over the coming months, we will be working with our prospective and existing clients to recognise these significant savings through the implementation of Triton, particularly its housekeeping module Triton HK, which automates daily housekeeping activities."
With more than 4,000 employees, Omni offers housekeeping, recruitment, property and software services to major hotel groups including IHG, Hilton Worldwide, Marriott, Redefine BDL Hotels, Raffles, Shangri-La, Ritz-Carlton and Resorts World.
