Residence Inn Irvine John Wayne Airport/Orange County will undergo a renovation project worth $3m to offer a better experience to customers.

Under the project, the 174 rooms at the all-suite Orange County hotel will be completely renovated with furniture, draperies and carpet.

The upgrade will add more space to the hotel’s refreshed bathrooms, which will include Paul Mitchell products.

Also, new sectional sofas and 42in flat-screen TV along with upgraded and complimentary AT&T high-speed access will be added.

New desks will also be deployed at the hotel to support business professionals.

Residence Inn vice president and global brand manager Diane Mayer said that when travelling an extended period, guests need space to spread out.

"Residence Inn offers a seamless blend of modern style and functionality that allows them to settle in and thrive," Mayer added.

"We are confident that these new renovations will enhance each lodger’s experience at the hotel."

The Orange County hotel near John Wayne Airport has suites that are larger than traditional hotel rooms with spacious layouts offering separate zones for guests to relax, work, eat and sleep.

Fully equipped kitchens at the property comprise conventional ovens, dishwashers, microwaves, pots, pans, serving dishes, refrigerators, silverware, stoves and toasters as well as an area with tables and chairs to enjoy a meal.

The Residence Inn also offers unique services like grocery delivery service, 24hr market and guest laundry room.

Additionally, the hotel includes a fitness centre with cardiovascular equipment including treadmills, elliptical machines and stationary bikes as well as free weights.

The hotel also has an on-site tennis court and sports court as well as a heated outdoor pool and whirlpool.
