UAE-based hospitality group Rotana has opened its second five-star hotel, the Hili Rayhaan by Rotana, in Al Ain city, Abu Dhabi.
The new 254-room hotel is situated in the Hili District, 20 minutes’ drive from the Al Ain International Airport and in close proximity to the heritage and archaeological sites of the city.
Hili Rayhaan by Rotana is linked to the new Wahat Hili Mall, which is a boutique retail and leisure facility launched in September 2013.
Rotana Abu Dhabi and Al Ain area vice president Greg Allan said that the city has grown rapidly in stature as a tourist and business destination, resulting in a burgeoning need for upscale accommodation.
"The extensive market research we conducted over the past couple of years showed that there is a strong demand for a 5-star facility that is alcohol-free, so we have incorporated this as an integral aspect of our new offering," Allan added.
The new hotel has rooms and suites with modern amenities including high-speed internet connections, in-room entertainment with multi-channel satellite televisions, complimentary coffee and tea facilities as well as IDD telephones with voice mail.
Dining options at the hotel include an all-day dining restaurant, Elements, serving international buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Hili Majlis lobby lounge and Sundeck, a pool cafe providing juices, beverages and light snacks by the pool.
Other amenities at the hotel include seven fully equipped and flexible boardrooms with audio-visual equipment, and a Bodylines Leisure & Fitness Club complete with steam, sauna and massage rooms.
Additionally, the property has a kids’ playground and dedicated kids’ pool, along with the availability of swimming classes and a babysitter.
Hili Rayhaan by Rotana general manager Stephan Köhn said the property caters to those who seek a greater level of relaxation and comfort.
"It is the hotel’s ability to accommodate both leisure and business guests in consummate style and comfort that makes Hili Rayhaan by Rotana, Al Ain, a first choice destination for visitors to Al Ain," Köhn added.
