Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has expanded its Westin Hotels & Resorts brand portfolio with the opening of The Westin Sacramento in California.
The former Le Rivage Hotel underwent a $3.2m renovation before re-opening under the Westin label.
Situated at 4350 Riverside Boulevard near the Sacramento Convention Center Complex, California State University campus and Sacramento International Airport (SMF), The Westin Sacramento hotel features 100 guestrooms and suites equipped with Westin Heavenly Bed, Heavenly Bath, Heavenly Shower, Heavenly Robe, White Tea Aloe bath amenities and in-room high-speed internet access.
Owned by Urban Commons/Brighton Management, the hotel also offers 7,000ft² of meeting and function space, a restaurant, outdoor pool, spa, SuperFoodsRX menu featuring nutrient-rich dishes, and WestinWORKOUT fitness studio with cardio, strength and stretching options.
Westin Hotels & Resorts global brand leader Brian Povinelli said the company is excited to open the Westin brand in Sacramento, where they can offer guests a restful retreat with popular attractions nearby.
