Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has announced the re-opening of the Sheraton Mallorca Arabella Golf Hotel in Spain.
The move follows the completion of a nine-month renovation programme, which is part of a multi-year project to revitalise the Sheraton brand, through which Starwood and its partners have invested over $6bn.
The renovated hotel has 93 guest rooms including 23 suites, which are equipped with all-white Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed, a warm palette and large terrace doors that open onto views of the garden, pool or golf course.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Europe, Africa and Middle East president Michael Wale said that, together with Schorghuber Corporate Group, the company is committed to the continued development of the tourism industry in Mallorca.
"The revitalisation of Sheraton Mallorca Arabella Golf Hotel allows us to meet the increased demand for high-calibre accommodation with distinctive guest experiences, providing golf enthusiasts, global travellers, as well as the local community with an inviting gathering place for all occasions," Wale added.

The hotel features a Shine Spa for Sheraton, with four treatment rooms, a new indoor pool, sauna and steam bath, a 24-hour fitness pavilion, and a range of facial and body treatments using products from Germaine de Capuccini and Phytomer.
Sheraton Mallorca Arabella Golf Hotel also has a fitness pavilion with power and cardio equipment, two outdoor pools, two tennis courts, as well as a kids’ club with its own pool and playground.
Additional amenities include the Es Carbo restaurant, which serves Sheraton breakfast selections and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, Bar 18+Uno and a new lobby with wireless internet access.
The property is located in the villa district of Son Vida near to Palma de Mallorca and is owned by Arabella Hospitality Group.
