
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has expanded its portfolio in China with the opening of a new hotel under the Aloft brand, the Aloft Dalian.
Owned by the Dalian Yifang Group, the new hotel is located on a commercial street lined with banks, hotels, restaurants and recreational facilities and at a walking distance from the city’s main luxury shopping mall and the harbor passenger terminal.
Aloft Dalian, which is the sixth Aloft hotel in China, features 314 rooms with an urban design aesthetic, live music performances, and an active social scene.
The new property features expansive windows and Aloft’s signature amenities including the ultra-comfortable bed, oversized walk-in showers and Bliss Spa products.
The hotel rooms also offer high-tech office and entertainment equipment with complimentary wireless internet access and plug-and-play connectivity solution for multiple electronic gadgetry all linked to a 42in LED TV.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Greater China operations regional vice-president Charlie Dang said: "With the opening of Aloft Dalian, we are further expanding our ability to meet the demands of this rapidly expanding market segment."
Aloft Dalian has the Re:mix lounge, the signature W XYZ bar and Re:fuel by Aloft 24-hour grab-and-go food and beverage area, along with Nook, the hotel’s signature all-day dining restaurant serving international delights and local seafood dishes.
The restaurant also offers a private dining room for about ten guests for special occasions or important business meals, while the new property includes over 1,000m² of meeting space including a grand ballroom of 500m² and five meeting rooms.
The hotel also has Re:charge fitness centre and indoor swimming pool.
