Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide will launch a new hotel under its Aloft brand in Coral Gables, the Aloft Coral Gables, in January 2016.

The new hotel will be the eighth Aloft branded property in Florida and the second Aloft hotel owned and managed by a joint venture between Sunview Companies and HES Group.

Located at 2524 LeJeune Road, Aloft Coral Gables will be part of a mixed-use development, which includes retail shops and an upscale restaurant and is in close proximity to Miami International Airport.

Starwood specialty select brands senior vice president Brian McGuinness said the group is looking forward to introducing Aloft to the Coral Gables community.

"Aloft continues its explosive growth, amid rising demand for the brand’s innovation and style, in Florida and worldwide," McGuinness added.

The company expects the new hotel to benefit from the neighboring offices of numerous Fortune 500 businesses as well as the Port of Miami, Vizcaya, Coconut Grove, and sunny South Beach.

"Aloft continues its explosive growth, amid rising demand for the brand’s innovation and style, in Florida and worldwide."

The new property will feature 137 loft-like rooms, urban-inspired design, W XYZ bar featuring live acoustic music, an outdoor Splash pool, 24hr RE:charge gym, and 600ft² of flexible meeting space suitable for both business meetings and social gatherings.

Sunview Companies CEO Pedro Villar said, "We are thrilled to be joining the community, and continuing our partnership with Starwood Hotels in our next Aloft-branded venture."

HES Group CEO Francisco Arocha said, "The mix of Aloft’s modern style set amongst Coral Gables’ historic architecture really speaks volumes about the kind of experience that awaits our guests."
