Scheduled to open on 1 July 2016, the new property will mark the Element brand’s entry into Asia Pacific and the presence of all of the group’s nine brands in the region.

Element Suzhou will feature 190 guestrooms equipped with Heavenly Bed, a fluid design of modular furniture, swiveling flat-screen televisions, large desks, custom-designed closets, and spa-inspired bathrooms with rain shower and dual-flush toilet.

"We look forward to the successful opening of Element Suzhou Science and Technology Town, which will set a new benchmark for the hospitality industry."

Additional amenities at the hotel will include around 10,764ft² of meeting space, a business centre, a 24hr fitness centre, an indoor heated swimming pool, and an all day dining option with three to four private dining rooms and grab-and-go pantry.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Greater China president Qian Jin said, "Chinese travellers are open to, and seek out, innovative and affordable hotel brands, and Element’s arrival not only completes Starwood’s brand line-up, but also echoes the growing consciousness of sustainable development in China."
