Two Australian hotels, Sydney Boulevard Hotel and the Arts Hotel, are to deploy and implement the Rezlynx web-based property management system (PMS) of Guestline, a UK-based privately-held provider of hospitality software solutions.

The move is in line with Guestline’s international expansion plan and comes after the company opened its second office in Sydney in October 2012 to increase sales in Australasia.

The 270-room Sydney Boulevard Hotel will be the first of the properties to replace its existing PMS with Guestline’s Rezlynx web-based PMS and distribution manager products, and the Sydney Arts Hotel will be Guestline’s second Australian installation.

"We now deal with guests quickly and efficiently, leaving extra time for the customer service and the finishing touches that make a stay special."

Sydney Boulevard Hotel general manger David Stavert said Guestline’s Rezlynx PMS integrates all aspects of the hotel’s business process into a single interface.

"The service we received from the Guestline support team was second-to-none and my team finds the system intuitive and easy-to-use," Stavert added.

"We now deal with guests quickly and efficiently, leaving extra time for the customer service and the finishing touches that make a stay special."

Guestline managing director Phil Davidson said that Guestline has performed consistently well in the UK over the last few years, and the technology is proving itself to be a leader in international markets – as demonstrated by the company’s current collaboration with Sydney Boulevard Hotel and Sydney Arts Hotel.

"Our ability to provide a portfolio of software solutions that can be adapted into any hotel’s management processes, and our comprehensive service and support offering, means our international opportunities are endless," Davidson added.
