W Hotels Worldwide, a brand of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, is set to enter into Israel with a new project featuring a hotel and residences that are scheduled to open in the Jaffa district of Tel Aviv in 2015.
Located near the renovated Jaffa port, beach, sidewalk cafes and nightlife destinations, the project will feature a 125-room W Tel Aviv – Jaffa hotel and the six-storey Residences at W Tel Aviv – Jaffa.
The new hotel, which is owned by Manhattan-based RFR Holding, is being designed by British architect John Pawson and Ramy Gill Architects and Urban Designers.
W Tel Aviv – Jaffa hotel will feature 125 guest rooms and suites, including one Extreme WOW Suite or Presidential Suite, restaurant, bar and lobby – W Living Room.
Other hotel amenities include an Away Spa, SWEAT fitness centre, outdoor WET pool deck, W brand’s Whatever/Whenever service and 24hr WIRED business centre.
The project also includes construction of Residences at W Tel Aviv – Jaffa, which will house 38 W-branded residences neighbouring the W Tel Aviv – Jaffa hotel.
Residences at W Tel Aviv – Jaffa will feature apartments ranging from 70-400m² and will provide residents with access to W Tel Aviv – Jaffa hotel, as well as W offerings and services.

W Hotels Worldwide currently operates 44 hotels and retreats around the world and plans to expand that number to over 60 by 2015.
