
Wyndham Hotel Group (WHG), part of Wyndham Worldwide Corporation (WWC), has opened a new Wyndham Istanbul Petek hotel under the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts brand in Turkey.
The new property, which is the group’s 20th property in the country, is owned and developed by Kilicbey Turizm Isletmeleri Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi, with design input from architects Metex Design.
Located close to Istanbul’s Atatürk International Airport, the 21-storey hotel features 307 rooms, including 241 guest rooms, 27 suites and 39 apartments.
The five-star hotel also offers amenities such as 586,618m² ballroom, 1,970m² space for 14 meeting rooms, fitness suite, 130m² swimming pool, tranquil spa area with four treatment rooms, retail outlets and more than 500 parking spaces.
Dining options at the hotel include a lobby bar and all-day dining and speciality restaurants with the convenience of 24hr room service.
WHG Europe’s Middle East and Africa senior vice president and managing director Rui Barros said that the company is pleased to welcome yet another Wyndham Hotels and Resorts property in Turkey.
"The popularity of the recently opened Wyndham Istanbul Kalamis Marina has proven there is strong demand for the Wyndham brand in the country," Barros added.

In Turkey, WHG operates hotels under three brands: Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, TRYP by Wyndham and Ramada.
WHG plans to launch its Super 8 brand in Turkey through a development agreement signed with Ilbak Turizm Isletmeleri Ve Yatirim.
The company is expecting to open a total of 20 Super 8 brand hotels in the country during the next ten years.
