Worldhotels has expanded its South American portfolio with the addition of the Hotel Transamerica Sao Paulo in Brazil.

The 396-room resort property is part of the Grupo Alfa conglomerate.

The Hotel Transamerica Sao Paulo brings the company’s global portfolio to 450 affiliate properties in 250 destinations and 65 countries worldwide.

Worldhotels has six affiliates in Brazil and three in Argentina, and is in negotiations for new properties in Peru, Chile and Colombia.
