Wyndham Hotel Group has signed agreements to franchise three hotels under its Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and Ramada brands in India, as part of its expansion plans.

The properties include the 154-room Wyndham Grand in Agra and two newly constructed Ramada properties in Alleppey and Ghaziabad.

Wyndham Grand Agra, which will open by the end of 2011, is owned by Shekhar Resorts and features 42 suites, a health club, an outdoor swimming pool, five restaurants and a cocktail bar.

The 100-room Ramada Ghaziabad, which is due to open in March 2016, is owned by development company Global Enterprises.

The Ramada Alleppey will feature 112 rooms, a rooftop swimming pool and a spa, and will open in March 2012.

The properties join Wyndham’s 14 hotels already in operation and the 15 properties under development in the country.
