Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.39% share in May 2022, recording a decrease of 0.15% over the last three-month average share.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 20.81% share, a decrease of 37.41% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 8.82%, registering a 56% rise from April 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 5.09%, down 10% over the previous month.
Top five travel & tourism companies in the US’s IT recruitment activity in May 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 23.03% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s travel & tourism industry during May 2022 over April 2022.
The Walt Disney posted 190 IT jobs in May 2022 and registered a rise of 3.26% over the previous month, followed by Uber Technologies with 74 jobs and a 64.44% growth. Enterprise Holdings with 51 IT jobs and National Railroad Passenger with 39 jobs, recorded a 50% growth and a 2.63% growth, respectively, while Hawaiian Holdings recorded an increase of 125% with 36 job postings during May 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.28%, down by 17.09% from April 2022. Mid Level positions with a 26.47% share, registered an increase of 4.93% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 14.03% share, flat growth over April 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.23%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
