The integration allows static images and text on web pages to be presented as video content, offering travellers a preview of hotel rooms, dining options, amenities and the overall environment before making a booking.

The collaboration aims to assist independent hotels in displaying their features online by providing access to Hovr’s video storytelling tools without requiring major website redesigns or complex development.

Curator members can incorporate these videos on their digital platforms, with the intention of increasing user engagement and improving conversion metrics.

Curator Hotel & Resort Collection programme development vice-president Brent Hayhurst said: “Video is increasingly important to how travellers are discovering, consuming, and engaging with hotel content to make travel decisions.

“Hovr will provide our members with a cost-effective way to turn their website into an interactive experience, create more shareable moments, and convert content into guest bookings.”

According to Curator, the properties that are already using the service have observed increases in click-through rates and time spent engaging with content.

Hovr has started working with Curator-affiliated hotels in various locations under the partnership, including Baltimore, Cleveland, Fredericksburg, Merced and San Diego.

In addition, Curator members will receive preferred pricing and onboarding support alongside joint resources developed for independently operated properties.

Hovr founder and CEO Jason Craparo said: “Independent hotels deserve digital tools that match the quality of their guest experience. That’s why partnering with Curator is so meaningful — they’re committed to giving their members an edge, and Hovr helps them deliver it.

“By bringing interactive video to more independent properties, we’re helping travellers see the story, feel the experience, and book with confidence.”
