These properties will give Blue Flag an expanded presence both on the East Coast and in the American West.
In Jackson Hole, Blue Flag is redeveloping the former Snake River Lodge & Spa into Faraway Jackson Hole, set to open with 90 guest rooms, 48 residences and a range of amenities for visitors to Teton Village.
Also operated by Blue Flag since its acquisition in 2023, the nearby Alpenhof Lodge will close temporarily next month before reopening under a new concept in 2028.
This move signals Blue Flag’s intention to strengthen its operations at the base of the Teton Mountains.
On Long Island, Blue Flag is redeveloping Baron’s Cove as Faraway Sag Harbor, a 67-room hotel designed to reflect the town’s maritime heritage.
The company is also launching Hotel Corduroy in Montauk with 29 guest rooms and direct beach access.
Oyster Estate, a newly reimagined 34-room hotel in Greenport Village, will offer a courtyard pool and on-site dining facilities.
Blue Flag Capital co-founder Brad Guidi said: “We’ve partnered with celebrated collaborators in the design space, including interior design firms Ward + Gray, Jenny Bukovec Studio, ISLYN Studio, and architects Workshop/APD, across these four openings to deliver a product that’s elevated, welcoming, and intentionally crafted to introduce fresh, unique experiences to each market while honouring the local character and culture.”
Blue Flag previously focused on Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, but now plans further geographic expansion beyond these areas.
The four new hotels are scheduled to open between May and September of 2026.
Plans for additional developments and international expansion are underway as Blue Flag continues to acquire and reposition hospitality assets in established leisure destinations.
