1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 60% in July 2021, a 23.64% drop over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 22.86% share, an increase of 14.29% over the previous month.

3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 7.14%, registering a flat growth from June 2021.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 5.71%, down 77.78% over the previous month.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada travel & tourism industry during July 2021 over June 2021.

WestJet Airlines posted 20 IT jobs in July 2021 and registered a drop of 4.76% over the previous month, followed by Cineplex with 18 jobs and a 100% growth. International Game Technology with 6 IT jobs and Air Canada with 4 jobs, recorded a 33.33% drop and a 55.56% decline, respectively, while Great Canadian Gaming recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during July 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.29%, down by 17.46% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 17.14% share, a decline of 45.45% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 8.57% share, down 14.29% over June 2021.
