Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.8% share in September 2021, recording an increase of 0.88% over the last three-month average share.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 17.22% share, a decrease of 29.73% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 12.58%, registering an 11.76% rise from August 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 3.97%, up 20% over the previous month.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 4.48% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s travel & tourism industry during September 2021 over August 2021.
Sixt posted 40 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a rise of 8.11% over the previous month, followed by Deutsche Bahn with 38 jobs and a 25.49% drop. FlixMobility with 20 IT jobs and TUI with 16 jobs, recorded a 17.65% flat growth and a 33.33% flat growth, respectively, while Deutsche Lufthansa recorded a decline of 17.65% with 14 job postings during September 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.85%, up by 10% from August 2021. Entry Level positions with a 16.56% share, registered a decline of 45.65% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 9.93% share, up 7.14% over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.66%, recording a month-on-month decline of 66.67%.
