Accor brand Emblems Collection is expanding its Italian portfolio with the addition of three new properties, scheduled to open by mid-2026.

This development is facilitated through a strategic partnership with Italy-based AG Group, a company in the hospitality and tourism sector.

Established in 2000 by founder Andrea Girolami, AG Group offers travel, dining, hotel ownership, and consulting services.

AG Group founder and president Andrea Girolami said: “Accor stood out as a constellation of diverse brands, a powerful global presence, and an artisan of unforgettable guest experiences across every market segment. The decision to collaborate was not only strategic but profoundly inspired.

“Among its brands, Emblems resonated deeply with us: it embodies a refined sense of place, cultural richness, and timeless elegance — qualities that harmonise beautifully with Italy’s heritage of hospitality and our own vision of contemporary luxury.”

In Apulia, southern Italy, Masseria Furnirussi is set to join the Emblems Collection. It features a spa and 60 suites, many with private pools.

The property offers a modern take on traditional Salento architecture and is surrounded by gardens.

Umbria will see the rebirth of Relais San Clemente as a 51-key estate with nine private villas and extensive wellness facilities.

The property is set in a 40ha park and includes a consecrated chapel dedicated to San Clemente.

In Siena’s historic centre, Palazzo Sozzini Malavolti will open as a 38-key residence, a stone’s throw from Piazza del Campo.

Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems CEO Maud Bailly said: “I’m delighted with these three signatures in Siena, Umbria, and Apulia, which perfectly match the spirit of Emblems Collection: exceptional destinations, offering luxury that is both intimate and exclusive, with a profound sense of space and suspended time.

“Because that’s what Emblems brand is all about: the promise of discovering unique places, deeply rooted in their heritage and history, where simplicity meets sophistication. My heartfelt thanks to AG Group for these three emblematic projects together.”

The addition of these three properties brings the Emblems Collection’s Italian portfolio to four distinctive properties and broadens the brand’s pipeline to seven upcoming hotels worldwide.

Among the other announced properties are Lucknam Park in the UK and Rimrock Banff in Canada, which were unveiled earlier this year.

Elatos Resort in Greece and Hotel Bellevue Cortina d’Ampezzo in Italy are also set to launch soon.
