The interior design was spearheaded by Guangde Zhang, a recipient of the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards.

The design incorporates local materials and traditional motifs such as stone, waves, and Lingnan weaving.

The hotel also introduces the Xiaoyao wellness programme, integrating signature spa treatments with practices such as morning Tai Chi and Himalayan salt baths.

The cultural programming features a sunrise ceremony, artisanal workshops, a traditional tea service and performances at the Luh Stage.

The resort, which is Ahn Luh’s first luxury island resort, is said to contribute to the region’s cultural and tourism sectors while also showcasing Chinese culture in the global hospitality market.

Ahn Luh was established through a collaborative effort between hotelier Adrian Zecha, who is also the founder of Aman, and Beijing Tourism Group.
