Indian real estate developer Assotech Realty has entered a partnership with Atmosphere Core to develop a hospitality project in Shirdi, Maharashtra, with an estimated investment of Rs2bn ($21.6m).
The project will comprise 160 suites, each measuring 45m².

Atmosphere Core will oversee the operation and management of the all-suite property when completed.
The agreement marks Assotech Realty’s first hospitality venture in Shirdi.
The property is intended to accommodate visitors to the temple town, including pilgrims, leisure travellers and destination tourists.
According to the companies, ongoing improvements in infrastructure and connectivity are supporting the transformation of temple towns such as Shirdi into structured tourism locations.

By GlobalDataAtmosphere Core currently operates nine resorts in the Maldives and is pursuing expansion across Bhutan, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Its portfolio also includes a heritage hotel scheduled to open in Italy.
