The 115-room hotel is a five-minute walk from the harbour and the historic Whitby Abbey. It features a grand reception hall, a large ballroom, and extensive dining facilities, making it an attractive destination for tourists.

Christie & Co director Mark Worley, who handled the sale of this hotel, said: “We are delighted to have completed the sale of The Royal Hotel in Whitby, which will continue as a hotel for ongoing hospitality use under its new ownership.

Situated on Eastbourne’s Victorian seafront, The Majestic Hotel offers guests views of the beach and promenade. This 19th-century hotel features 95 bedrooms, many with unobstructed sea views, alongside a welcoming bar and lounge area.
