CommScope’s Ruckus Networks has unveiled a suite of AI-powered Wi-Fi 7 solutions to deliver enhanced wireless connectivity and guest experiences within the hospitality industry.

The new offerings are designed to cater to the specific needs of the luxury and budget segments.

CommScope president and networking, intelligent cellular and security solutions (NICS) senior vice president Bart Giordano said: “These cutting-edge Ruckus solutions reflect our commitment to helping our hospitality customers and partners scale their networks, reduce operational costs, and improve performance and reliability through AI-driven network assurance systems.

“We offer a purpose-driven solution for every tier of the hospitality spectrum—enabling every guest, device and application to get the connection and attention it deserves.”

These solutions are developed upon the Ruckus One platform, which offers network assurance, service delivery, and business intelligence in a single dashboard.

The H670 access point (AP) represents an advancement in digital transformation for full-service hotels, said the company.

As the first Ruckus One-managed, AI-powered hospitality-centred Wi-Fi 7 solution, the H670 is designed for premium hotel environments.

This tri-radio wall-mounted AP features dual IoT radios and multi-gigabit PoE output ports, facilitating IoT integration and bolstering in-room technologies.

Mid-scale hotels can benefit from the R370 AP, which incorporates the dual-band Ruckus R370 solution. This AI-driven option simplifies operations and offers Wi-Fi 7 benefits without the need for extensive infrastructure changes.

It provides wireless coverage suitable for guest rooms and smaller common areas.

The limited-service hotel solution is tailored to be cost-effective and simple. The features include cloud-connected remote management services, an integrated guest Wi-Fi portal, and affordable hardware such as the Ruckus R350e AP and the new ICX 8100 Ethernet switch, delivering enterprise-grade networking at an accessible price point.

The suite also introduces the Ruckus One Hospitality Edition, which facilitates automated onboarding and dynamic network access depending on guest identity.

The Brand 360 Dashboard offers live visibility into property performance while the AI Onboarding Assistant enhances efficiency in configuration deployment and policy management.

Enhanced security features such as single sign-on and multi-factor authentication provide additional administrative safeguards, notes the company.

Sonesta International Hotels’ property internet services manager Jillian Kenney said: “It makes managing the entire network effortless for any hotel in Sonesta’s portfolio, regardless of which provider we are working with.

“The full visibility it offers means I can pinpoint issues, down to the AP level, before it becomes a problem, making operations smoother and more secure every day.”
