Formerly associated with the Bank of Italy, the palazzo has undergone extensive restoration to return it to its original proportions. It has restored historical features such as 1920s frescoes while revealing mosaics and marble detailing.
Located in Rome’s Campo Marzio district, close to landmarks such as the Pantheon, Roman Forum, and Spanish Steps, the 60-room hotel is owned by Reuben Brothers and marks their second hotel operated by Corinthia Hotels.
Hospitality design studio GA oversaw the restoration process, which involved removing later additions to the building and conducting detailed historical research.
The former Council Chamber has been converted into the Theodoli Heritage Suite, featuring preserved ceiling frescoes by Guglielmo Janni and artwork by Giulio Bargellini that reflects the history of Italian currency.
