Deutsche Hospitality has expanded its presence in Oman with the opening of a second IntercityHotel in the oasis city of Nizwa.
Locate at the edge of Hadschar mountain range, the hotel is surrounded by the Nizwa Grand Mall and the Aqua Water Park.

The IntercityHotel Nizwa will feature 120 guest rooms and suites, a restaurant, a café and an Aqua Pool Bar.
Health and beauty spa facilities will comprise a gym, a steam bath and a rooftop pool.
The hotel’s ballroom can accommodate up to 700 people, while three combinable conference rooms will provide additional space for meetings.

The first IntercityHotel Salalah opened in the Sultanate in 2016 and is operated by Deutsche Hospitality.
IntercityHotel Nizwa general manager Anees Shinnara said: “The huge ballroom, the rooftop pool and the events rooms are all USP’s for us in this wonderful city.
“The whole team is ready to fire the enthusiasm of our guests.”
Nizwa is considered to be a centre and a link between various parts of the country as it lies between the routes connecting Muscat and Salalah.
The portfolio of IntercityHotels includes more than 40 hotels in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Oman and China. Another 20 properties are currently at the development stage.
