The hotel features 84 guest rooms, including 28 suites, some offering views of the Pacific Ocean.

Public spaces and the building’s Art Deco façade have been restored to reflect original architectural elements.

The Georgian houses several dining spaces, including a signature restaurant focused on seasonal Californian ingredients and a bar referencing the site’s Hollywood-era connections.

There are also café areas that provide access from morning until sunset for both guests and local residents.

Cultural amenities at the hotel include The Library, which offers a curated collection of books and artworks; and Gallery 33, an on-site gallery hosting year-round exhibitions by local and internationally recognised artists.

By joining The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, The Georgian will gain access to Hyatt’s distribution channels and reservation systems, as well as participation in the World of Hyatt loyalty scheme.

Hyatt Luxury global brand leader Tamara Lohan said: “I am truly delighted that such an iconic and beautiful hotel is joining The Unbound Collection by Hyatt.

“From its unmistakable turquoise façade to its art deco detailing that nods to the glamour of Hollywood’s golden age, The Georgian carries a personality that is both confident and timeless.

“Our role is to protect and celebrate that individuality – its history, its design, its sense of theatre – while bringing the power and global reach of Hyatt to support its next chapter.”

The addition marks further expansion of the brand’s presence in California, joining other locations such as Carmel Valley Ranch and Hotel Figueroa.

In August 2025, Hyatt Hotels announced plans to expand The Unbound Collection brand in Thailand with The Barai in Hua Hin and Narai Hotel in Bangkok.
