Located on 299 acres on Hutchinson Island, The Westin Savannah Harbor is the only urban resort in downtown Savannah.

The property offers 403 guest rooms, more than 51,800ft² of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting venues, five food and beverage outlets, and various fitness and wellness amenities.

The resort is situated to allow access to Savannah’s Historic District while offering a more private environment.

The nearby Savannah Convention Center finalised a $276m expansion in April 2025, doubling its size to 660,000ft². The expansion added a 40,000ft² ballroom, 14 new meeting rooms, and 100,000ft² of exhibit space.

The JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group team for the transaction included senior managing director Andrew Dickey, senior director Maciej Polek and vice president Derek Hayden.

Dickey stated: “Savannah continues to demonstrate exceptional momentum as both a leisure destination and thriving corporate market.

“The Westin’s unique positioning adjacent to the expanded convention centre, coupled with being the only true resort in the market with excess land that will benefit from the residential success in Savannah Harbor, creates a compelling value proposition that sets it apart from traditional urban hotels in this rapidly growing market.”

Hersha Hotels and Resorts operates 17 hotels with 3,169 rooms across several major urban and regional resort markets in the US.
