
The Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort in California, US, has advanced its cellular connectivity by implementing a small cell network from IONX Networks.
The enhancement is designed to improve the overall guest experience across the entire 24-acre property.
IONX’s small cell network ensures fast cellular service for the resort’s 335 rooms, 25 suites, and extensive event space spanning 60,000ft².
The resort aims to offer a fully connected experience that improves guest convenience and safety from check-in to checkout.
This enhanced connectivity also helps streamline staff operations, improve communication for event managers, and bolster emergency preparedness.

IONX Networks’ solution installation is currently underway at the resort, providing a more efficient deployment in comparison to traditional distributed antenna systems (DAS).
It features on-site intelligence, automation, and spectrum optimisation to provide uninterrupted, multi-operator cellular coverage.
