The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has signed an agreement to operate a SeleQtions hotel in Devanahalli, Bengaluru.
The company will convert an existing standalone resort and expand its capacity to 120 rooms.

The SeleQtions Prakruthi Resort currently features 115 rooms and offers various dining options, including an all-day restaurant, a speciality outlet, a bar, and a lounge. Recreational amenities include a spa, a gymnasium, and a swimming pool.
The site also includes more than 6,000ft² of banquet space and multiple meeting rooms to support business and social functions.
This addition brings the number of IHCL properties in Bengaluru to 20, with 11 projects underway.

By GlobalData“North Bengaluru, particularly Devanahalli, is witnessing rapid development driven by the expansion of the airport and the presence of sectors such as aerospace, biotechnology, defence and education.
“The signing of this hotel, the first SeleQtions in Bengaluru, will cater to this growth and expand our brandscape in this key lodging market.”
The project is being developed in association with BABA Developers Private Limited, a Bengaluru-based company with interests in hospitality, real estate and various lifestyle businesses.
BABA Developers Private Limited managing director Parvataneni Sasibhushan said: “We are delighted to partner with IHCL to bring the SeleQtions brand to Bengaluru and create a distinctive hospitality experience in Devanahalli.”
IHCL manages a total portfolio of 617 hotels worldwide, including 256 properties that are under development. Its operations cover four continents, 14 countries and more than 250 locations.
Earlier this month, IHCL signed an agreement to open a Taj hotel in Weligama, Sri Lanka, expanding its operations in the country.
