IHG Hotels & Resorts and Club Chaulani have reached management agreement for Holiday Inn property in Dhangadhi, Nepal.
The 115-room hotel is slated to open in the first quarter (Q1) of 2028, marking IHG’s debut in Sudurpashchim Province and supporting its strategy to grow in high-potential, under-served South Asian markets.

Holiday Inn Dhangadhi will sit at the heart of a mixed-use development, roughly 8.5km from Dhangadhi Airport.
Close to the India–Nepal border, the property is expected to draw business travellers, government officials, and transit guests, along with leisure visitors heading to nearby attractions such as Shuklaphanta National Park, Ghodaghodi Lake, and the Shivpuri Temple.

Meeting and event facilities will comprise flexible function rooms and a ballroom.
Additional guest amenities will include a fully equipped fitness centre and a swimming pool.

As of now, IHG runs 51 hotels in India across six brands and has 80 more properties in the pipeline set to open over the next three to five years.
Earlier this month, IHG revealed plans to introduce the Vignette Collection brand to Malaysia with the signing of the Mangala Estate resort in Kuantan.
