IHG Hotels and Resorts brand Kimpton Hotels has opened its first property in Malaysia with the launch of Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur.

The hotel is located in the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) district, a commercial and lifestyle area in the Malaysian capital city.

Owned by LQ Hotel, a partnership between Lendlease and TRX City, Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur features 466 guest rooms and suites across 26 floors, offering views of city landmarks that include Merdeka 118 and KL Tower.

The hotel’s design was led by Hassell studio and includes references to Malaysian park landscapes through interior elements such as earthy colours and organic textures.

Guests also receive access to four dining venues and several wellness facilities, such as a rooftop fitness terrace, complimentary group workout sessions, yoga mats in rooms, and bicycles for guest use.

Looking ahead, The Connection Hub will open at Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur in early 2026 with five event spaces.

The new property adds to IHG’s expanding portfolio of luxury lifestyle hotels that began opening last year across cities that include Algarve, Frankfurt, Hainan, Hong Kong and Riyadh. Additional sites remain under development for future openings.

Recently, Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas Paradise Valley commenced operations in Scottsdale, Arizona, following a $42m redevelopment by Trinity Investments and Partners Group.
