IHG Hotels & Resorts is set to launch a new Vignette Collection hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in collaboration with LCK Hospitality Company.

Set to open later this year, the 52-key property marks the brand’s debut in the city and expands IHG’s luxury and lifestyle portfolio.

The new Vignette Collection hotel, the brand’s second property in Vietnam following Moire Hoi An, will join IHG’s growing global presence, which includes 23 open hotels and 38 properties in the pipeline.

LCK Hospitality Company asset management director Trang Hai Dang said: “When considering the best brand for this property, above all, we wanted a proven model of success, and were highly impressed by the successful launch of Moire Hoi An, Vignette Collection – By IHG, which provides travellers with unique and authentic stay experiences, inspired by its location.

“The new property will be located alongside antique and art galleries and close to the Fine Arts Museum. As art dealers, we want to bring to life the rich artistry of Vietnamese charm and culture in a one-of-a-kind stay, which will tie in nicely with its location. We look forward to introducing this truly distinctive Vietnamese stay to our guests when it opens.”

Located 30 minutes from Tan Son Nhat International Airport by car, the hotel’s central position in Ho Chi Minh City will provide guests with easy access to local attractions.

Vietnam’s travel sector is experiencing robust growth, with international visitors in the first six months of 2025 reaching 10.7 million, a 21% increase year-on-year, said IHG.

According to the company, the country has seen a rise in both international and domestic travel, supported by visa-free policies and enhanced flight connectivity.

IHG’s current operations in Vietnam include 20 hotels across eight brands, with an additional 22 properties in the pipeline.

The luxury and lifestyle segment constitutes 60% of IHG’s portfolio in Vietnam, featuring brands such as Regent, Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Vignette Collection, and Hotel Indigo.
