Uzbekistan is gaining recognition as an area for foreign investment and tourism. The country, positioned at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, offers a mix of cultural heritage and contemporary development, said Marriott.

The government has recently enacted a series of economic policy changes that aim to improve the business environment, attract foreign investment, and stimulate expansion in critical areas, including infrastructure, hospitality, and services.

Marriott International CEE and DACH development senior vice-president Ivica Čačić said: “The signing of JW Marriott Hotel Tashkent underscores the strong growth potential of the luxury hospitality segment in Central Asia.
