KAFD DMC board chairman Saad Abdulaziz Alkroud said: “We are excited to partner with Hilton to enhance KAFD’s hospitality offering and firmly establish the district as a major destination for both business and leisure travellers.

“KAFD’s growing hospitality offering demonstrates our commitment to enabling Vision 2030 by developing world-class infrastructure to drive the growth of tourism in the Kingdom.”

KAFD DMC aims to enhance its hospitality portfolio by securing international hotel brands as part of its strategy for the district, which combines office spaces, homes, retail outlets, and venues in an integrated urban setting.

The district currently houses more than 140 office tenants and 19 regional headquarters.

KAFD DMC managing director John Pagano said: “The hotel will complement KAFD’s integrated ecosystem of offices, residences, retail, and event venues, providing seamless convenience for visitors and residents.”

Hilton presently manages 21 hotels across Saudi Arabia and has announced plans for a further 83 properties in development.

The company’s ongoing expansion aligns with efforts to support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy by deepening its presence within the kingdom’s hospitality sector.

The new establishment adds to an expanding mix of hotels and related services targeting business, leisure, and conference visitors.

Hilton president and CEO Chris Nassetta said: “Hilton Riyadh King Abdullah Financial District represents an exciting step for Hilton in Saudi Arabia. Our growth in the kingdom has accelerated significantly in recent years, and with over 100 hotels trading and in the pipeline, we remain confident in the country’s inspiring future.”
