Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas Paradise Valley has opened in Scottsdale, Arizona, US, after the completion of a $42m redevelopment led by Trinity Investments and Partners Group.

Located between Camelback and Mummy Mountains, it marks Kimpton’s second property in the state.

The opening phase features 224 redesigned guest rooms and 36 casitas, with additional villas and residences expected to become available later this year.

The property includes several amenities such as the Hecho Libre restaurant; Spa Miralina offering five treatment rooms and wellness facilities; and six swimming pools, including the multi-tier Canyon Pools.

It also has more than 50,000ft² of indoor and outdoor event space, including the new Horizon Pavilion glass-enclosed venue, and the Desert Reveries art installations positioned throughout the 40-acre grounds.

International design studio Saguez & Dash managed the resort’s redesign while artist Mariella Motilla contributed a large-scale textile installation that spans public areas of the property.

Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas general manager Colm O’Brien said: “Miralina is offering a new definition of luxury for the Sonoran.
