Virginia, US-based Luray RV Resort on Shenandoah River has expanded its campgrounds from 73 to 350 campsites.

The resort has added additional amenities such as a resort-like pool and cabanas, an amphitheatre, a recreational centre with pickleball, a mountain bike track, basketball, an RC car track, and a corn hole.

Luray RV Resort was previously known as Outlanders River Camp.

Furthermore, this expansion will create 45 job opportunities for the local economy of Page County and the company claims tourism is estimated to bring over 250,000 visitors to Luray this year, increasing revenue for the local economy and supporting small businesses.

Luray RV Resort on Shenandoah River general manager Kim Rhinehart said: “The growth at Luray RV Resort on Shenandoah River is going to create a flourishing property for both our visitors and residents of Page County.

“In addition to the economic growth the expansion will bring, the upgraded amenities are elevating the camping experience to a resort-quality vacation, giving families the best of both worlds and will make them want to return year after year.”

The property upgrades include an ADA-accessible back-in RV site that is pet-friendly and features full hookup capabilities as well as electric service.

The new Airstream rental will allow guests to camp with facilities such as a fridge, a bathroom, AC, a furnished patio, a fully equipped kitchen, a fire pit and a private front port.

Development company Blue Water is operating Luray RV Resort on Shenandoah River.

Luray RV Resort on Shenandoah River is set to open to the public on 5 July this year.
